Overview

openclaw-wiki.top is a static documentation website for the OpenClaw AI open-source project. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This site is designed to function with minimal data collection.

Data We Collect

Automatically Collected Data

When you visit this site, standard web server logs may be generated by our hosting provider (Netlify). These logs may include:

  • IP address (anonymised or hashed by Netlify)
  • Browser type and version
  • Referring URL
  • Pages visited and time of visit

These logs are used for security monitoring and performance optimisation. We do not use them to identify individuals.

Analytics

This site optionally uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first, cookie-free analytics service. If enabled, Plausible does not use cookies, does not track users across sites, and does not collect personal data. All analytics data is aggregated and anonymous.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter via the form on the homepage, your email address is submitted to Formspree for processing. Please review Formspree's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to store your preferred colour theme (light or dark mode). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies of its own. Third-party services embedded in this site (such as Plausible Analytics) are cookie-free by design.

Third-Party Services

We embed resources from the following third-party services:

  • Google Fonts — for typography. Google may log font requests. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • cdnjs (Cloudflare) — for code syntax highlighting. Cloudflare may log CDN requests.
  • GitHub — links to the OpenClaw repository. GitHub's privacy policy applies when you visit those links.

Data Retention

We do not store personal data beyond what our hosting provider (Netlify) retains in server logs as part of their standard infrastructure. Netlify retains access logs for up to 30 days.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights or for any privacy-related questions, contact us via GitHub Discussions.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
